March 2024
Life got the best of me, so I am a few days late to write my March recap. But like any new habit, it takes being intentional and sticking with it. So, here I am. March was simultaneously busy and relaxing. I will explain that remark a bit more in just a moment. Before we get started, I want to invite you to close your eyes and imagine where you want to be at the end of April. Where are you, who are you with, what are you doing, what characteristics or skills have gotten better in the last month? That is the whole goal of these exercises; set intentions, manifest, and act. Thank yourself for making your future life easier, now.

1. Recap
The shortened version of my March 2024 is quite repetitive. The first week was full of planning and prepping for my upcoming adventures (more on that in the April recap!). I was then able to visit with some extended family at a wedding, and afterward with other family, a lunch. I had several holistic therapies done, like an infrared sauna and an ionic foot bath. I also did another mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy session, which always leaves me feeling better. I started some part-time, remote freelance work, which seems to be going well. And lastly, I began the first part of the adventure I’ve been dreaming about and planning since September last year :) I am so very excited to share all of that with you in the next month.
2. Lessons
The biggest reminder and lesson I had in March was this: you don’t have to have it all figured out in order to begin. In other words, just do it. Just start. Make the first step. The rest will sort itself out, you’ll grow and learn, and figure it out along the way. Don’t let the fantasy of a perfect plan prevent you from starting something life-changing.
3. Challenge
In March, I tried to be more open and receptive to what the world was trying to tell me. We are constantly getting these nudges, gut feelings, and intuition… the question is, do we listen? That’s what I’ve been working on. Being more in tune with my body, my thoughts, my emotions, my life. One of the biggest things that has helped me with this is pausing before I act. Stop, think, breathe (that’s a big one), and then act. We don’t have to immediately respond to every stimulus in life. Take a moment for yourself. How does this moment make you feel? I encourage you to adopt something similar in your life for April and document the changes you see. For April: have a desire for change and challenges. I will stretch myself and learn to be more flexible and unphased when life doesn’t go as planned.
4. Summary
Well, this month’s recap was rather short. But, I have a feeling that April will more than make up for it. If you’re still following along with these blogs, thank you. If you haven’t yet, come up with your own version of monthly synopses to help yourself learn and grow. Thank you, March. Come on, April.
